Imerovigli

Situated in the central west part of Santorini, about 3.5 Km away from the capital Fira, Imerovigli is popular with honeymooners because of its beautiful breathtaking views of caldera on one side and volcano on the other. Imerovigli is known as one of the most beautiful balconies of the Aegean sea because of the view of amazing sunsets and hidden viewpoints.

With strategically built whitewashed houses around the caldera, Imerovigli is never as crowded as other towns on the caldera. With limited options to explore, Imerovigli is a place where one can just sit back in their private pools and enjoy the view from their hotel. Apart from a few attractions including Hiking up to Oia and Skaros rocks (views during the hike are to die for from both locations), there are a handful of churches and restaurants one can visit. With authentic cycladic architecture, narrow alleys, and unique houses, Imerovigli is pretty small and there are plenty of stairs and no slopes inside the village. Imerovigli is famous for its boutique hotels, cave houses with outdoor pools with caldera views, they are worth a stay if one can afford it.
